We deal with the matter of the Lost son (younger brother) in this installment.
He was not the Prodigal Son but the LOST SON. His Prodigality was a result of him being LOST (APPOLYMI – Destruction)
This Greek word relates to – how one would put something or someone out of the way. So, in reality, he was not lost – vanished or nowhere to be found. His older brother knew where he was and what he did. but no-one went to save him.
Revelation 9 – He is the king of the locusts out of the bottomless pit.
Abad – to Wander away – from Principles, Standards and a Moral compass.
The word Appolymi is the personified in Revelation 9 as Apolyon (Greek)/ Abadon (Hebrew) and means – Destroyer
These Hyperboles and Allegories (about Destruction) are fascinating examples, which intends to show you an extreme picture, with massive elements – although in reality there are limits and boundaries to objects and people.
Ephesians 5v15, 16 – See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, REDEEMING THE TIME because the days are evil. Sometimes we lose precious things in the venue of time. Abstract things like relationships, connections, opportunities, love, joy, peace and sometimes even people. Tangible things can be replaced. But it is very hard to love again if you have been hurt deeply. There is still time to redeem the beauty and goodness that were lost to you. God still heals, restores and revives! Listen to the message to stir you as you make your way back to make the most of THE TIME you have.
